New for 2019! The Carr Center welcomes the award-winning Ghetto Film School to Detroit for a 12 day Film Intensive training program for students age 14 - 18. Students wil have the opportunity to develop their artistry in film, alternate media and the creative industries. Students will create, produce, shoot and edit their own two-minute short films based on original scripts developed during the Intensive. The intensive will close with a public screening of the films as well as reception honoring the young filmmakers. There is a $400.00 fee for the two-week program. There is a $25 application fee. A formal application and interview are required for acceptance into the program. application and registration fees are nor refundable.
